How to delete your account

You can delete your Finwiser account in any of the following ways:

1. In the Finwiser app

Open the app → Profile tab → tap "Delete my account" → confirm in the two-step screen. Your account and data will be permanently deleted immediately. See our Privacy Policy for full details of what is deleted and retained.

2. If you have uninstalled the app

Email us at [email protected] with the subject "Delete my account" from the email address registered on your Finwiser account. Include your registered mobile number. We will confirm your identity and process the deletion within 3 working days.

What gets deleted

When you request deletion, we permanently remove from our active systems:

• your user account record (name, email, mobile number, date of birth, PAN, address, profile details);
• your onboarding progress, financial profile, risk profile, and goals;
• your budgets, holdings, transactions, net-worth snapshots, and cash-flow snapshots; and
• all JWT refresh tokens and active session credentials.

Backup copies are purged within 30 days. Anonymous, non-identifying aggregate statistics (e.g. total active user counts) may persist in our analytics systems; these do not contain any data that could identify you after deletion.

Important — Account Aggregator consent

To fully revoke data sharing, please also open your Account Aggregator app after deleting your Finwiser account and revoke any active consents there. Finwiser will stop using the consent immediately upon your deletion request; the final revocation at the AA is the step only you can take.
